LOVE in Action
1. Program Overview
Purpose: To lead and equip the church in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20) by serving local, national, and global communities through acts of compassion, evangelism, and sustainable partnership.
Vision Statement: To be a Christ-centered program that transforms lives and communities through love, service, and the message of Jesus Christ.

2. Goals and Objectives
Primary Goals:
To mobilize church members to actively participate in mission work.
To meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in targeted communities.
To establish lasting partnerships with mission organizations and ministries.
To develop cultural awareness and servant leadership in all participants.
Objectives:
Organize at least two local outreach events each quarter.
Support one national and one international mission trip annually.
Maintain consistent communication and prayer support for sponsored missionaries.
Provide training workshops for volunteers and mission team members.
3. Program Structure
Leadership Roles:
Program Director: Oversees planning, partnerships, and spiritual direction.
Administrative Coordinator: Handles logistics, scheduling, and budgeting.
Local Outreach Team Leader: Coordinates community service and local evangelism.
Global Mission Coordinator: Manages international projects and partnerships.
Prayer and Support Team: Provides ongoing intercession and care for missionaries.

4. Key Program Components
A. Local Missions
Food drives, clothing giveaways, and school supply distributions.
Partnering with shelters, nursing homes, and local nonprofits.
Community service days and neighborhood evangelism.
B. National Missions
Disaster relief efforts (in partnership with national ministries).
Support for church plants or outreach programs in underserved regions.
C. International Missions
Short-term mission trips focused on evangelism, medical aid, education, or construction.
Long-term partnerships with missionaries and ministries abroad.
Cross-cultural training before international engagement.
D. Mission Education & Awareness
Annual “Missions Week.”
Testimonies, newsletters, and updates from mission fields.
Workshops on cultural sensitivity, evangelism, and discipleship.
5. Training & Preparation
Orientation: Mission purpose, expectations, and safety briefing.
Biblical Foundations: Teaching on service, humility, and cultural awareness.
Practical Training: Language basics, team dynamics, and fundraising support.
Debriefing: Reflection, testimony sharing, and reintegration after mission trips.
6. Funding & Support
Annual mission budget
Fundraising events (banquets, sponsorship drives, community fundraisers).
Individual mission trip fundraising (with accountability guidelines).
Donation partnerships and grants where applicable.
7. Evaluation & Follow-Up
Post-event/mission trip debrief and written report.
